A frantic call from Dr. Manoj Katariya<\/a>, one of our client\u00a0set the tone for the day. \u00a0Dr. Katariya’s computer was refusing to start. Dr. Katariya was worried about his practice data. Rightly so, he had just finished entering around 5000+ patients and multiple visits in them. The computer was\u00a0shown to the\u00a0hardware vendor. The guy recommended a format. Rarely have I seen guys troubleshooting the system and resolving an issue without a format. Format seems to be the easiest\u00a0way out to fix a problem.<\/p>\n

Anyway, the recommendation had made Dr. Katariya a worried man since the data of\u00a0his 5000+ patients\u00a0was at stake. Fortunately, Dr. Katariya connected to internet regularly. MyOPD would take auto backup of Dr. Katariya’s data on our secure servers. After getting a consent from Dr. Katariya, we checked our backup server to ensure that the data\u00a0was really\u00a0backed up. And so it was.<\/p>\n

We gave our thumbs up to the\u00a0format. Post format, when the system was ready again,\u00a0MyOPD staff restored\u00a0the data on the new system in 30 minutes. The restoration activity was carried out\u00a0without visiting Dr. Katariya’s clinic. So Doctors\u00a0need not worry even if MyOPD Team is\u00a0not located in your city because we don’t need to be \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
