While this setup works for general consultations, it limits the ability to schedule longer sessions like procedures, therapies, or counseling.<\/p><p><strong>With the new update, appointments can now be booked for durations ranging from:<\/strong><\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>5 minutes<\/li>\n\n<li>10 minutes<\/li>\n\n<li>20 minutes<\/li>\n\n<li>30 minutes<\/li>\n\n<li>1 hour<\/li><\/ul><p>This means, if a therapy or procedure is expected to take 30 minutes, the Receptionist can directly book a 30-minute slot instead of blocking three 10-minute slots manually.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#x1f3af; Why This Matters<\/h2><p>Here\u2019s how <strong>variable duration booking<\/strong> makes a real difference:<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Better Time Management:<\/strong> Plan your day with more accuracy.<\/li>\n\n<li><strong>More Accurate Scheduling:<\/strong> Each patient gets the time they need.<\/li>\n\n<li><strong>Improved Patient Experience:<\/strong> No rushing through important treatments.<\/li>\n\n<li><strong>Simplified Reception Workflow:<\/strong> No need for workarounds like manual slot blocking.<\/li><\/ul><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#x1fa7a; Use Cases Across Specialties<\/h3><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#x1f33f; Ayurvedic &amp; Naturopathy Clinics<\/h3><p>An Ayurvedic practitioner can now schedule <strong>different therapies in various rooms<\/strong> while continuing consultations.<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>A patient can book a <strong>30-minute Shirodhara session<\/strong>, handled by a therapist.<\/li>\n\n<li>Another can book a <strong>10-minute consultation<\/strong> with the Doctor.<\/li>\n\n<li>All appointments \u2014 consultations and therapies \u2014 are handled smoothly.<\/li><\/ul><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#x1f3c3;&#x200d;&#x2642;&#xfe0f;Orthopedic &amp; Physiotherapy Clinics<\/h3><p>Orthopedic Doctors often prescribe physiotherapy post-diagnosis.<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Reception staff can directly schedule <strong>30-minute physiotherapy sessions<\/strong> like Exercise Therapy.<\/li>\n\n<li>Consultations remain on their usual 10-minute schedule.<\/li><\/ul><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#x1f9e0; Psychiatry &amp; Psychology Clinics<\/h3><p>Longer, focused counseling sessions are common.<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>A patient needing detailed counseling can be booked for <strong>45\u201360 minutes<\/strong>, while regular follow-ups stay within <strong>15 minutes<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#x1f9b7; Dental Clinics<\/h3><p>Different dental procedures require vastly different durations.<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Book a <strong>1-hour root canal treatment<\/strong><\/li>\n\n<li>Slot a <strong>15-minute follow-up<\/strong> or checkup easily afterward<\/li><\/ul><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#x1f4ac; We Asked Our Doctors \u2013 And Majority Voted YES!<\/h2><p>Before building this feature, we reached out to our Doctors for their opinion.
