📅 Variable Appointment Durations!
✅ What’s Changing in MyOPD Clinic Software?
Until now, Reception staff could book appointments only in fixed durations — typically 5 or 10 minutes per slot. While this setup works for general consultations, it limits the ability to schedule longer sessions like procedures, therapies, or counseling.
With the new update, appointments can now be booked for durations ranging from:
- 5 minutes
- 10 minutes
- 20 minutes
- 30 minutes
- 1 hour
This means, if a therapy or procedure is expected to take 30 minutes, the Receptionist can directly book a 30-minute slot instead of blocking three 10-minute slots manually.

An Ayurvedic practitioner can now schedule different therapies in various rooms while continuing consultations.
- A patient can book a 30-minute Shirodhara session, handled by a therapist.
- Another can book a 10-minute consultation with the Doctor.
- All appointments — consultations and therapies — are handled smoothly.
🏃♂️Orthopedic & Physiotherapy Clinics
Orthopedic Doctors often prescribe physiotherapy post-diagnosis.
- Reception staff can directly schedule 30-minute physiotherapy sessions like Exercise Therapy.
- Consultations remain on their usual 10-minute schedule.

Longer, focused counseling sessions are common.
- A patient needing detailed counseling can be booked for 45–60 minutes, while regular follow-ups stay within 15 minutes.
