MyOPD just released its latest release which assists Doctors in Clinic Inventory Management. While not all Doctors need such a solution, there are a lot of Doctors who dispense medicines in-house. It is a common practice in case of certain General Physicians in India as well as Ayurved, Unani and Homeopathy Practitioners.

This post explains various appointment booking options available for users of MyOPD software:
Offline Appointments: Useful for Doctors who deal with just call in patients. Offline appointment feature in MyOPD allows Doctors and their staff to set an appointment of varying duration and without an internet connection. So you can have one appointment of 5 mins and another one of 45 mins. These appointments would be synced on to your Android smartphone whenever internet is available.
Online Appointments: Doctors or their staff can book appointments for call in patients directly using MyOPD connected Apps. These Appointments are of fixed duration of 15 min each. Appointments booked by the Doctor’s staff get reflected on to the Doctor’s phone as well. Online appointments can also be booked by the Patients directly using the MyOPD Wellness app.
